Most agencies will build you a website whether you need one or not. It is a good way to add a large invoice to a project. We take a different approach.

NSYGHT designs and builds websites exclusively for clients who are running an active SEO campaign with us. That is not a limitation. It is a deliberate choice. Because a website without a search strategy behind it is an expensive brochure. It looks good, it might even win an award, and it brings in almost no business.

When a website is built in tandem with an active SEO campaign, every decision, from the page structure to the navigation labels to the call-to-action placement, is made with both the user and the search engine in mind. That is the only kind of website worth building for a local service business.

Our Position

We do not push web design as a default recommendation. If your current site is structurally sound and can be optimized effectively, we will work with what you have. We only recommend a rebuild when the existing site has limitations that would genuinely hold your SEO back.

When We Recommend a New Website

Over 20 years of doing local SEO, we have seen every type of website. Some are beyond saving. Others just need optimization work. Here is when we tell a client that a new build makes sense.

Situation We Recommend a Rebuild We Work With What You Have
Site speed Core Web Vitals scores that cannot be corrected through optimization alone Slow but fixable with image compression, caching, and code cleanup
Structure No clear page hierarchy, all content crammed onto one or two pages Decent structure that can be expanded with new service and location pages
Mobile experience Not mobile responsive or broken on mobile devices Mobile-friendly with minor UX issues we can address
Platform Built on an outdated platform with no flexibility for SEO work WordPress or similar that gives us room to optimize
Brand alignment Site no longer reflects the business and hurts credibility with visitors Dated visuals but solid bones: cosmetic updates are enough
Conversion No clear calls to action, visitors have no idea what to do next Basic CTAs in place that we can strengthen and reposition

What We Focus On

Every site NSYGHT builds is designed around four non-negotiables. These are not optional extras. They are the baseline for any website that is expected to perform in search and convert visitors into customers.

Core Web Vitals Performance

Google uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking factor. That means load time, visual stability, and responsiveness are not just user experience concerns. They directly affect where your site ranks. Every site we build is optimized to score well on all three metrics before it ever goes live.

🎯
Conversion-Driven Design

Getting traffic is one job. Turning that traffic into phone calls and form submissions is another. We design every page with clear, prominent CTAs and logical user flows so a visitor always knows what to do next. A beautiful site that does not convert is a liability, not an asset.

🧭
Intuitive Navigation

Visitors should never feel lost on your website. Navigation that is clear, consistent, and logically structured keeps people moving through the site instead of bouncing out of frustration. It also helps search engines understand your site's hierarchy and index it correctly.

🎨
Brand-Aligned Visual Design

Your website should look like your business, not like a generic template. We work with each client's brand, colors, and identity to create a site that feels professional and builds trust with visitors from the first second they land on it.

Core Web Vitals: Why Speed Is Not Optional

Google made it official: page experience is a ranking factor. Core Web Vitals measure three specific aspects of how a page feels to use.

LCP
Largest Contentful Paint

How quickly the main content of a page loads. Target: under 2.5 seconds. Most template-heavy sites fail this.

INP
Interaction to Next Paint

How quickly the page responds when a user clicks or taps. Target: under 200ms. Bloated JavaScript kills this.

CLS
Cumulative Layout Shift

How stable the page is as it loads. Elements jumping around as the page loads create a poor experience and a poor score.

Most local business websites built on page-builder tools score poorly on all three. We build lean, fast sites where performance is a design requirement from the start, not an afterthought.

How the Process Works

Every website project follows the same structured process. Nothing goes live without passing our internal review against all four design pillars and Core Web Vitals benchmarks.

01
Discovery and Brand Review

We start by understanding your business, your customers, and your brand. What do you want visitors to feel when they land on your site? What action do you want them to take? This conversation shapes every design decision that follows.

02
Site Architecture and Page Planning

Before any design work begins, we map the full site structure. Which pages are needed? How do they connect? What is the internal linking strategy? This step is done in coordination with the overall search strategy so the site is built to support ranking goals from the ground up, including the page and heading structure needed to earn featured snippets and position zero placements.

03
Design and Development

We design in your brand and build for performance. Clean code, optimized images, fast load times, and a mobile-first approach are standard on every project. No bloated page builders, no unnecessary plugins.

04
Review, Testing, and Launch

Before going live, every site goes through a full review covering Core Web Vitals scores, mobile responsiveness, CTA placement, navigation flow, and on-page SEO elements. We do not launch a site that fails any of these checks.

05
Monitoring and Ongoing Improvement

The website is connected to Google Search Console and Google Analytics on day one. From that point forward, the data drives decisions. We review performance as part of the ongoing SEO campaign and make adjustments based on what the data shows, not what looks good in a presentation.

Ongoing Monitoring

A website is not a finished product. It is an asset that should improve over time as you learn more about how visitors use it and where they drop off. Every site NSYGHT builds is monitored through two essential tools.

🔍
Google Search Console

Tracks how your site performs in Google search. Shows which pages rank, which keywords send traffic, any crawl errors, and Core Web Vitals scores in the field. We review this as part of every monthly SEO campaign cycle.

📊
Google Analytics

Shows how visitors behave on your site. Which pages get the most traffic, where people drop off, how long they stay, and whether they convert. This data tells us where to focus improvement efforts each month.

When the data shows a page with high traffic but low conversions, we fix the CTA. When it shows visitors dropping off before reaching a key service page, we fix the navigation. Every change is driven by evidence, not assumption. This data-driven approach also informs the content strategy that supports AI search visibility over time.

Common Questions

Does NSYGHT build websites for anyone?+

No. We design and build websites exclusively for clients running an active SEO campaign with us. A website without a search strategy is an expensive brochure. By pairing design with SEO from the start, every site we build is structured to rank, convert, and improve over time based on real data.

What does NSYGHT focus on when designing a website?+

Four areas: Core Web Vitals performance, conversion-driven design with clear CTAs, intuitive navigation so visitors never feel lost, and brand-aligned visual design. Every site is also connected to Google Search Console and Google Analytics so improvements are driven by real data from day one.

How do you decide if I need a new website?+

We do not push web design as a default. If your existing site is technically sound and can be optimized effectively, we work with it. We only recommend a rebuild when the current site has structural issues that limit SEO performance, Core Web Vitals scores that cannot be corrected, or a user experience that is actively hurting conversion rates.

How are sites monitored after launch?+

Every site is connected to Google Search Console and Google Analytics on launch day. We review this data as part of the ongoing SEO campaign and use it to identify pages that need improvement, content gaps, and conversion opportunities. For clients also running Google Business Profile management, we cross-reference this data with local search grid performance to get a complete picture. The site improves over time as the data accumulates.

How much does a website from NSYGHT cost?+

Website projects are scoped and priced individually based on the number of pages, complexity of design, content requirements, and the existing state of your brand assets. We do not have fixed package pricing for web design because no two projects are the same. Pricing is discussed during the discovery conversation once we understand exactly what the project requires.

Interested in a New Website?

If you are already an NSYGHT SEO client and we have recommended a website upgrade, the next step is a design discovery conversation. If you are not yet a client, the place to start is with the free discovery call. Web design follows from there when it is needed.
