Morni is a tourist place in Morni Hills in Panchkula district of Haryana in India. Morni Hills are the offshoots of Shivalik range of the Himalayas, which run in two parallel ranges. The village of Morni (Bhoj Jabial) lies on the mountainside, at 1220 meters above mean sea level. Traditions assign the name of Morni to a Queen who is believed to have ruled this area.

Located in the Amaravati district, Chikhaldhara is the only hill station in the Vidarbha region. It is situated at a height of 1,118 m and offers plenty wildlife, lovely lakes and waterfalls. According to legends, Chikaldhara is named after the demon Keechaka, who was killed by the Pandava hero, Bhima.

Located in the middle of the Sahyadri Hills, and about 185 km from Mumbai on the Nasik road, is the hill station Bhandardara. It is known for its high mountains, waterfalls and lush greenery. Bhandardara has one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, known as Arthur Lake. It is formed by the waters of the Pravara River.

Located about 40 kms north of Mumbai, lies Gorai beach. At one time, it was a small fishing village outside the city but today it is an extended suburb. It is a welcome getaway for most people in the city. There are many bungalows here, which are used mainly as weekend getaways. Low hills along the beach offer extraordinary views of sunrise and sunset.

Munnar is a town located in Kerala state in the southern Western Ghats in South India. The name is often used to refer to the whole tourist area of Idukki District of which the town forms a part. Munnar panchayat of Devikulam block is the largest in the district with an area of 557 km². The name of Munnar is believed to be derived from the Tamil words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Chandavurai and Kundaly rivers.

Mount Abu, Aravalli Hills, Rajasthan

Mount Abu is the highest peak in the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan state in western India. It is located in Sirohi district. The mountain forms a distinct rocky plateau 22km long by 9 km wide. The highest peak on the mountain is Guru Shikhar, at 1722 meters above sea level. It is referred to as 'an oasis in the desert', as its heights are home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests.

Udaipur is a city in Rajasthan, India. It is the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar, and the administrative headquarters of Udaipur District. It is also known as the City of Lakes and Venice of the East.
